Shazam and soundhound are basically the same in terms of extended functions. Songs that can be recognized through Facebook, Twitter, email, and short message sharing. You can also purchase MP3 from Amazon and search for YouTube videos. At the same time, shazam also has functions that soundhound does not have to view the artist's information, biography, and portfolio. It may be purely used to view music information, and shazam is better.

My point of view

Through comparison, we found that soundhound outperforms Shazam in terms of music recognition speed and accuracy. At the same time, his social functions can also meet our basic needs. However, because both applications are developed by developers outside China, they do not provide good Localization support for Chinese users, however, the functions of buying and sharing music to Twitter and Facebook are not suitable for Chinese users.
I very much hope that domestic developers can develop similar applications. It should include the following features:

I don't know which one can take the lead and develop such an application for users. It may be because it has abundant music resources and has developed a powerful Douban network for Douban radio stations.
