1 axwoman 6.0 Overview 1.1 axwoman Introduction
Axwoman is a set of spatial syntactic analysis tools integrated in GIS. Developed Using C # And ArcObjects, it is an extension of ArcGIS 10. Supports spatial Syntactic Analysis of axes and natural streets. Spatial syntactic analysis was first developed by Bill Hillier and his colleagues (Hillier and Hanson 1984), mainly using the axis method. The long axis line represents an independent urban space.

Microsoft. NET Framework Version 4.0

Note: You need to send an email to instructor Jiang Bin to obtain the compressed package password.
Installation:
1. Run setup.exe to install.
2. Enable the axwoman 6.0 and axialgen 2.0 extensions In ArcMap.
1.3 General Procedure
1. Start the desktop, create line elements, and digitize the desktop. (Draw a line at two points)
2. finish editing and save.
3. Select the central axis and use the "get isolated lines" tool to check whether there are isolated lines.
4. Use "calculate parameters in case oflines with lines" to calculate the spatial syntactic index.
