The Checked Exception inherits the java. lang. Exception class. The Unchecked exception is inherited from the java. lang. RuntimeException class.

However, Spring's transaction implementation is implemented using the AOP-Based Interceptor. If the rollback checked exception is not indicated during transaction configuration,

Transaction rollback is performed only when an unchecked exception occurs.

 

Possible reasons for the transaction being ineffective:

1. the above exceptions.

2. dialect problems.

3. MySQL engine problem: MyISAM does not support transactions.

4. hibernate. current_session_context_class attribute problems.
