SQL Server data creation, growth, shrinking

The first step:

Create DATABASE Studio
On primary
(name = ' Studio ', filename= ' E:\DB\Studio.mdf ', SIZE=10MB),
Filegroup FG2
(name = ' Studio_fg2 ', filename= ' E:\DB\Studio_FG2.ndf ', SIZE=10MB)
Log on
(name = ' Studio_log ', filename= ' E:\DB\Studio_Log.ldf ', SIZE=10MB);
Go

Step Two:

Growth

ALTER DATABASE Studio
Modify File
(name = ' Studio ', SIZE=200MB); Note this size cannot be less than the size of the file.
Go

Step Three:

Contraction

Use studio; #一定要先进入到目标数据据

DBCC SHRINKFILE (' Studio ', ten); #第一个参数是文件的name, the second parameter is the size of the target after the shrinking unit is MB.
