Sometimes when we use SQL Server management tools to operate the database, we need to rename the database, but if the current database has a connection is not released, it cannot be renamed.
There are a number of ways to disconnect all connections, and here's a way for individuals to feel more simple.
Operation Steps:

1, select the need to rename the database, right--properties, as shown, the limit access to the value of Single_user (single-user), click OK, pop-up prompt box also click OK, you can change the name.

  

  

2. After renaming, remember to change the value of the restricted access back to Multi_user, or it will cause the current database to allow only one connection.
