SQL Server Restore Error "restore database is terminating abnormally error 3154"

Today, when restoring a database, first establish a database of the same name, and then right-click on the database to restore the database. An error has been encountered:

"The database backup in the backup set is different from the existing ' rm_db ' database.

RESTORE DATABASE is terminating abnormally. (Microsoft SQL Server, error: 3154) ”

Obviously, this is due to the fact that the backup database version is not the same as the version of the database I am restoring now.

This problem is eventually resolved by the following methods:

(1) Restore files and filegroups directly on the database, right-click menu

(2) write directly to the database name-rm_db, click OK, ok! Restore success!
