The operating system for installing SQL Server 2000 is Windows 2000 license sion edition, and the simplified Chinese Standard Edition is installed. The system prompts that the server components cannot be installed in the operating system of this version, and only the SQL Server 2000 Personal Edition can be installed. Then exit and choose to install the Personal Edition. But there is a new error:
"Previous ProgramInstall a file that has been suspended on the installation computer. You must restart the computer before running the installer ."
Then follow the prompts to restart the computer, and then install again, the same prompt still appears. Find the relevant information on the Internet and find that the installation program left some information in the system registry during the previous installation process. As a result, the installation cannot be performed. After multiple attempts, you can delete the following key-value information to install it:
Enter Regedit in the running window, open registry editor, find pendingfilerenameoperations in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ controlset001 \ Control \ Session Manager, delete the key value, and Close Registry Editor. Re-Install SQL Server 2000. Haha, the installation interface for a long time has finally surfaced.
This key value is a temporary project of the installer. You only need to find the corresponding application to clear it.
