SQL Server2000 cannot be enabled without installing the SP4 patchProgramThe TCP 1433 port is bound to 0.0.0.0 (all IP addresses), but only the IP address obtained by the physical network adapter bound to the LAN. Therefore, when the connection fails, we must first determine whether the SP4 patch is installed in SQL Server2000, right-click the database server, and check the attribute to see the version number, if SP4 is used, it will be shown as 8.00.2039 (SP4). That is to say, we can directly see whether SP4 patch is installed, because no other patch is installed after SP4, as long as this information is not displayed, it means that the SP4 Patch Is Not Installed.

 

How to view the database version?

Run select @ version in the query analyzer.
