Several status IDs of spids
The background spid is executing a background task. |
Sleeping spid is not currently executed. It usually indicates that the spid is waiting for applicationProgramIssue a command. |
Runnable spid is currently being executed. |
Dormant is similar to sleeping, but dormant also indicates that the spid has been reset after an RPC event is completed. The reset operation clears the resources used during RPC event execution. This is a normal state. spid is not only available, but is waiting to execute subsequent commands. |
Rollback: The spid is in the transaction rollback status. |
Defwakeup indicates that the spid is waiting for resources in the release process. The waitresource field indicates the resource being discussed. |
The spinloop process is waiting for the time it tries to obtain the spin lock used for concurrency control on the SMP system. |
