SQL Server uses a maintenance plan to periodically back up a full database, differential database

I configured the following:

One months perform a full backup database and delete the backup file three months ago. Perform a differential backup every day, deleting one months of money back up files.

1. Management-Maintenance plan right-new maintenance plan

2. Create a sub-plan

3. Configure job Schedule properties (execution time) separately

4. Add the Backup Database task and the Purge history task for the child plan

5. Backing up the database configuration and purging history configuration (configuration for full backups)

6. Configuring reports and Logging writes to Local

This configuration saves the path:

Full database save path: D:\DbBackupFiles\Medusa_Full

Differential database save path: D:\DbBackupFiles\Medusa_Diff

Log Save path: D:\DbBackupFiles\Log
