SqlServer restores a database based on the backup file. bak

Do not create a blank database. follow these steps:

1. Open SQL Server Management studio

2. Right-click "Database" and choose "Restore database (R )... "

3. Enter the database name in "target database ".

4. Select "Source Device" from "restored source" and click "on the right"

5. In the displayed "specify device", select "add", select the backup file name, and then return to the "Restore database" window.

6. Select each row in the "select backup set for restoration" table, and click OK.
