SSRS 2012 Management Chart--moving average chart
When the numbers are observed at denser time intervals, they can appear to be overly cluttered and difficult to generalize because of rapid fluctuations. Moving average (moving average,ma) becomes an important tool for analyzing the trend of series, which can effectively eliminate short-term numerical fluctuations by using the average of the fixed period, so that the analysts can focus more clearly on the long-term sequence trend, Moving averages are widely used in quality control or stock technical analysis, and the 10th line of the stock is well known as the trend line drawn by the average price of the last 10 days.
However, it is cumbersome to calculate moving averages using T-SQL or SSRS expressions, so designing a moving average is not easy, and SSRS designs the function of a "computed sequence" that allows users to design complex business digital computing logic based on pre-engineered templates. Here's how to use a calculated sequence to design a moving average chart:
Step 1 :
First, put the chart into the design area, set the "line" chart type, drag the trading day of the Htc_stock data table (TRX_DTE) into the category group, open the Axis Properties dialog box for the horizontal axis, and tick the "Horizontal axis Property" tab. Scalar "and set" Interval type "to" days ".
Step 2 :
Drag the closing price (Close_price) to the value, right-click "Close_price", and select "Add calculated Series ...".

Step 3 :
The Calculated Series Properties dialog box pops up, select "Moving average" in the "Formula" drop-down menu, then enter a period of 5 in the settings panel below and switch to the "Legend" tab to set the calculated sequence name to "5th line". And in the Border tab, use the line Width property to set the width of the line to 4pt.

Step 4 :
In the same way, a moving average with a period of 10 is designed, and the legend is set to the "10th line".
Step 5 :
After setting up the legend display text and the related art decoration, after switching the preview, the moving average can be displayed, which reveals that the original stock price fluctuates greatly, and the relative fluctuation of 5th line is relatively small. When the stock price fell, the 5th line reaction will fall more than the 10th line reaction results.
