2. Download syslinux. Open the zip package (use winzip or winrar) and decompress syslinux.exe in the \ win32 \ directory to the hard disk, for example, under the root directory "d. Then open a DOS command window and enter d: \ syslinux.exe-s n: (where n: is the drive letter of the flash drive ).
3. Download ubuntu mini cd. Use winrar to open mini. iso. (You can find the mini cd of ubuntu of other versions here .) Decompress all the files to the flash drive. Then, change isolinux. cfg to syslinux. cfg.
Complete. Now, as long as your network speed is fast enough (adsl is barely enough), you can start with this flash drive and start to install ubuntu through the network.
