Start developing IOS apps now
Developing IOS apps is both interesting and rewarding. If you are a newbie, you naturally want to know where to start. This roadmap provides an excellent starting point for iOS application development. On Mac, you can create IOS apps running on iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch. Follow this roadmap to learn how to obtain development tools, understand the main concepts and best practices, and learn to find more information.
Continue to follow this road map and you will use xcode and iOS SDK (development tools provided by Apple ). You will learn the basics of programming in objective-C (programming languages that drive all IOS applications and frameworks) and explore the cocoa touch framework. You will create a simple iOS app and learn to test it on your device. Finally, you will learn how to submit the application to the app store.
Each page in the roadmap introduces a new topic and links to one or more short articles on the topic. The roadmap only provides basic entry-level knowledge. The last page "what to do next" contains the link to the document you should read next. After completing the roadmap, you will be able to learn more about each topic and learn the knowledge, tools, and skills for developing IOS applications.
If you are a Mac developer: you have mastered a lot of knowledge about developing IOS applications. However, although iOS and OS X use the same development tool and language, there are still significant differences between the two (you will find this in the learning process of the roadmap ). For a comprehensive description of these platform differences, see 《IOS
