One of the few robot projects that is being done recently is the mobile crawl technology. However, I am the face of a confused force in fact.
Since it is a mobile crawl, it should be the first to move after the crawl it. Then the robot will probably be divided into two parts:
1, mobile chassis;
2, mechanical arm;
In fact, the robotic arm is divided into a manipulator and a robotic arm.
In fact, want to complete the function, do a remote control program, coupled with a single-chip driver, the hardware are all well-done. However, we are high-tech ah, how can use remote control, all have to automatic!!
This is not only the chassis and mechanical arm of these actuators, plus the perception and CPU bar at least.
So, Xtion and a can run embedded system board card is indispensable. Why not Kinect? How do I know, there is a xtion at hand, save some money.
Currently the board has Raspberry Pi 3 and Jetson tk1. You can use it to estimate. The architecture becomes a little bit more complicated. Well, I'll do it while I'm learning.
