I believe that every dialing user will think that the ADSL dialing speed is faster than that of a common phone, however, when using the ADSL dial-up method to access the Internet, they often feel that the Internet speed is not as fast as they think. Why? In fact, there are many factors that affect the speed of ADSL dial-up Internet access. Therefore, there are also many ways to speed up ADSL dial-up Internet access, we will find that many acceleration methods are for ADSL devices. In fact, the speed of ADSL dial-up Internet access is not only related to the working status of the device, but also to the working environment and some details. If this is not the case, this article will start from some details, I would like to provide you with some private keys for accelerating the speed of ADSL dial-up, which are applicable to almost any type of ADSL devices!

Cheat 1: Modify the dial-up access interface

Sometimes, the speed of dialing the ADSL device is very fast, but after the dial is successful, the speed of the IE browser to open the webpage is very slow, and in serious cases, the web page cannot be opened. In the event of a phenomenon similar to dial-up Internet access but slow webpage access speed, we may wish to check the connection setting parameters of IE browser, in Windows, the Internet Connection Wizard defines Internet access interfaces for IE browsers by default as common dialing interfaces, the access interface used by virtual dialing software such as Enterhet300 is a LAN-type virtual dialing interface. When IE is used to browse webpages slowly, it is likely that the IE browser will first look for a common dialing interface. If it cannot find this interface, it will try to find whether there is a proxy server in the LAN, you can only find the virtual dialing interface if you cannot find it, so that you can access the Web page slowly. To speed up access to web pages after successful dialing, follow these steps:

Figure 1

Open the IE browser window, click "Tools" option in the menu bar, and run the "Internet Options" command from the drop-down menu, click the "connection" tab on the "Internet Options settings" page that appears. The "connection options" Page shown in "1" is displayed;

Click the "add" button on the settings page. In the displayed New Connection Wizard, select the "connect to the network through broadband" option and click "Next, create an interface name for the newly created access interface. For example, you can set the access exit name to "virtual dialing" and click "finish, create a virtual dial-up access exit;

Next, select the "virtual dialing" connection exit, and click the "Settings" button. In the settings window that appears, set the username and password of the ADSL dial-up Internet access, in addition, the "Automatic Detection configuration" item in the interface is deselected, and the proxy server function is not enabled. Finally, click "OK" to end the "virtual dialing" connection exit setting operation, in this way, when the IE browser opens the website page in the future, it will automatically access the Internet through the virtual dial-up exit!

Secret 2: Enable Nic binding protocols to perform their respective duties

Considering that the ADSL device is directly connected to the NIC device, the speed of dial-up access is closely related to the NIC working status. However, in the actual dial-up Internet access process, many dial-up users prefer to bind too many network communication protocols to the same Nic device to make full use of the working potential of the NIC device. However, if a network card device is bound with too many communication protocols at the same time, when network information passes through such a network card device, Windows usually takes a long time, to determine which communication protocol is used for transmission of the current network information, we will obviously feel that the Internet access speed is slow.

To prevent multiple communication protocols from being "broken" during dial-up, we must bind only one communication protocol for each Nic according to the different devices connected to the NIC, in this way, the NIC device can perform their respective duties when processing network information, so that the speed of dial-up access can be guaranteed. For example, to allow the network card to process information from the ADSL device with one intent, we can bind only one PPPOE communication protocol to the network card directly connected to the ADSL device, cancel all other redundant communication protocols.

Secret 3: creating a suitable dial-up environment for ADSL

The ADSL dial-up environment is generally divided into a software environment and a hardware environment. The ADSL dial-up speed can be maximized only in an ideal working environment. For the software environment, it mainly includes whether the Windows system can run normally, whether the dial-up software is damaged, and whether several applications are running at the same time; the ADSL dialing operation can be successful only when the Windows system runs smoothly and the virtual dialing program is installed normally. In addition, do not run multiple applications at the same time when the system performance configuration is low, to ensure that system resources can be used for ADSL dial-up operations with one mind, so as to ensure that the speed of ADSL dial-up access is not affected. For the hardware environment, it mainly includes whether the computer hardware configuration that is directly connected to ADSL is high-grade, whether the NIC device is compatible with the computer motherboard, and whether the NIC device is correctly installed; only when the NIC device is correctly installed under relatively high computer memory and CPU configurations can the NIC device process data from the ADSL device at full speed, if the computer memory we use is small and the CPU grade is low, the speed of ADSL dial-up access will not be faster under any other conditions.

In addition to the software environment and hardware environment, the location environment of the ADSL device may also affect the speed of dial-up access. We know that after a long period of work, ADSL equipment will often generate a huge amount of heat. If these heat is not distributed in time, it will easily lead to frequent disconnection or even crash of ADSL equipment; however, in the actual dial-up Internet access process, many dial-up users put ADSL devices and hubs or routers in one cabinet, and the ventilated environment of the Cabinet is not very smooth, when each device is working at the same time, the heat that is emitted cannot be distributed in time, so that the working status of the ADSL device will be significantly affected. For example, the speed of dial-up Internet access is normal at first, but after about five minutes, the network speed is obviously reduced. At this time, I touched the ADSL device shell with my hand and felt very hot, obviously, this is caused by poor heat dissipation. In order to minimize the speed of dial-up caused by improper location and environment, we 'd better place ADSL devices, hubs, or routers in a decentralized manner. There must be a ventilation and cooling channel between devices, it is best to keep the constant temperature in the environment where ADSL is located. Generally, the ambient temperature should be between 10 ℃ and 10 ℃ ~ 30 ℃.

Secret 4: Keep ADSL away from possible interference

We know that when the ADSL device encounters interference with electromagnetic waves or other communication signals, its working status will certainly not be very stable, which will inevitably affect the speed of dial-up Internet access. In general, the ADSL device may suffer interference from power input interference and external communication signal interference. Power Input interference mainly refers to that if the input power of ADSL is unstable, it will not only lead to unstable ADSL dial-up Internet access, but may also burn down the ADSL device; therefore, we should pull cables from the transformer to provide independent power for the ADSL equipment, so as to ensure stable and reliable power supply for the ADSL equipment. In addition, we should try our best to allow the ADSL to use a separate outlet, do not share a socket with other devices. After all, the power plugging operation of other devices will also interfere with the power input of the ADSL device, thus affecting the speed of dial-up access. External communication signal interference mainly refers to the signal interference when listening to the mobile phone, and the signal interference from nearby communication devices or household appliances during work. These Interference phenomena often lead to slow webpage access speeds, disconnection can also occur in severe cases. To avoid such interference as much as possible, we may look for a white sheet to shield ADSL, and then effectively ground the white sheet to minimize external communication interference.

Secret 5: Remote dialing improves ADSL Internet access efficiency

In an office environment, we may encounter the situation where multiple computers share an ADSL device to access the Internet at the same time. In this case, we must dial-up the Internet in the computer system connected to the ADSL device before other computers can share the ADSL Broadband for network access. Obviously, for other computers in the Organization, each time you access the Internet, you need to go to the computer connected to the ADSL device for dialing. Can we allow other computers to perform remote dialing on the ADSL device only locally, so as to improve the efficiency of dial-up access? In fact, it is very simple. We only need to make the following settings in the computer system connected to the ADSL device:

First, click the start button on the desktop of the computer system connected to the ADSL device, and run the run command from the Start menu to open the run text box of the local system, enter the "regedit" string command and click the Enter key to go to the registry editing window of the local system;

In the left-side area of the editing window, expand the "HKEY_CURRENT_USER" Registry branch with the mouse, select the registry subkey "Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Internet Settings" under the Branch ", check whether there is a dual-byte value named "EnableAutodial" under the "Internet Settings" key value;

If the double byte value is not found, right-click the blank area in the area on the right of the corresponding "Internet Settings" key value, right-click the "new" and "DWORD Value" commands in the pop-up menu, and set the new key value name to "EnableAutodial ";

Figure 2
Double-click the "EnableAutodial" double-byte value, open the "Edit double byte value settings" window shown in 2, select "decimal", and enter number 1 in the "value data" text box, click "OK" and press the F5 function key on the keyboard to refresh the system registry. In this way, we can remotely dial the ADSL Device on other computers in the future, in this way, the efficiency of ADSL dial-up Internet access can be greatly improved.
