I am using ArchLinux, the default installation is missing three dependent libraries, I have to fill in the compressed package (red), in general, the other dependencies as long as your distribution has a complete desktop environment will not be missing.
Registered as Stata-se, you can also use the serial number on the forum to register other versions (Stinit registered under the terminal running the software).
In order to save the file permissions, I first packaged with tar and then compressed with RAR (XB forum does not support GZ or bz2 extension attachments)
The compressed package can also be extracted to any file system that is compatible with traditional UNIX file permissions, not NTFS or FAT32, unless your default mount Umask is 777 (but that means you are not in security sense).
There is a shell script "xstata-se-launcher" that I have written in the package, and click to run Stata-se directly (if you want to run a different version, you can open it yourself with a text editor).

Completely free, everything is the equivalent of their own stolen, if you turn a hand to other people to ask for money, it is no ear stop to no lower limit.
