Returns a structure of information related to this named file

(2) int fstat (int fileds,struct stat *buf)

Get information about a file that has been opened on file descriptor Filedes

(3) int fstat (const char *path_name,struct stat *buf)

Similar to stat, when a named file is a symbolic link, returns information about the symbolic link
