In the first article, I introduced the common technical career development channel, which is actually a kind of career planning. Because I haven't even managed myself, I don't want to switch to my management position. It's not suitable for me. I am a person who does not love others or care about others. Well, this is me.

Everything in the world has never been so simple, and there are accidents and uncertainties everywhere in life. This is one of the highlights of life. After all, no one of us would like to assume our entire life from birth to a fixed script. Everyone enjoys a journey full of unknown and hope, which is the charm of life. We hope to be the manager of our own destiny, the designer of our life journey, and the planner of our career.

Brother Xiaowei (Let me name myself like this) has started to follow his own plan since graduation, so the burden on his body is not heavy. He has lived his chosen life and is steadfast and happy.

At graduation, I arranged a very good position for outsiders, but I declined. I went to my internship in my junior year and had a serious bureaucratic system. I was not very comfortable with being free and casual. Of course, I want to go there to work, but I really don't like to live a life that has been arranged by others. So despite my family's opposition, I refused to look for a job. Later, I learned that the famous saying "Qiao bangzhu" was too appropriate in the current situation. Do not let others' opinions influence your own thoughts and follow your own voice bravely.

The biggest advantage of engaging in technology is that you don't have to worry about finding a job. Looking at the fact that many of my classmates spend money to arrange work and give gifts during holidays, it seems incredible to me and I am also very disdainful (it is the weakness of every programmer ). If you are a programmer, you can eat with your own skills. As long as you are skilled, you can talk about anything else. This is also the reason why it idiots are easy to live, but in the opinion of outsiders, these it male are too naive.

Although I have changed my work several times, I have carefully considered each time. With the deepening of my experience and broad knowledge, I have constantly adjusted my career plans, but I have never left it for every change.

I have been struggling with the breadth and depth of technology debate. And every time I come to the results, there is no depth, where is the breadth? Without the breadth of depth, it can only be called "Miscellaneous ". The things learned are very complicated, the technologies used are very complicated, and there is no in-depth understanding. Like the buildings on the sand, they won't be solid, and the more complicated things there will be, the more burden it will be. Focused, it is easier to succeed.

In my work, I keep searching for the most suitable technical direction, setting it down, focusing on it, and accumulating my impetuous heart. After years of baptism, the technology has become.

Career planning is a required course in life and a process of constantly exploring the path of life. Like practice, career planning will accompany us all our lives. Don't underestimate it, because we have been working for most of our lives, planning for work, that is, planning for people. Just like our main architecture, we have considered technology as our lifelong pursuit and dream. In this way, treating work is like treating your own business. enthusiasm and a sense of accomplishment naturally become high, and you can work hard.

It is better to believe in books than to have no books. We cannot have the idea that we can't change it if we have made a plan. Life experiences are different. If you do not do what you plan, do not force it. Otherwise, we will not believe in the plan. This is what we call it.

Finally, let me talk about my reflection on Mr. Xiaowei. Should I choose a job that I like (fun) or that I think is valuable in my career planning? Or something else?

When I graduated, I was wondering how nice it would be if I had fun as my job. Later, I did the same, turning programming into my own work. But today, I have some different opinions.

I am not living in fairy tales. I have become secular. I will evaluate my work with a secular view. What is my salary compared to other industries? Do I have a social status? Will there be great development in the future?

The above three questions are only the tip of the iceberg. If the answers are good, good, and evolving, I will not hesitate to say that the programmer's career is really good. I have chosen the right one!

A person can take his hobbies as work (career) and be very successful (here success simply refers to high salaries, social status, and good development in the future). This is really a blessing.

But I think now, apart from the answer to the first question, the other two have some doubts.

We have sacrificed a lot of time to face cold screens and complaints from customers all day. Instead of social relations, we have become an independent group of people (geeks or geeks ), however, we do not have the expected social status, and even the future development is not guaranteed (the middle-age crisis of programmers). Do we really think this profession is suitable for us?

So how should we choose?

The answer is, you have to have a reason, and this reason should help you stick to your choice when you encounter difficulties. The reason can be money, fun, power, development, good at, and so on.

The so-called choice is acceptable, and you must think twice before making a decision.
