Step 7 of Wireless Broadband Router installation (1)

The full name of a wireless router should be a Wireless Broadband Router, because the wireless router needs to be connected to a wired connection to make full use of the function, then we will introduce some of the procedures for installing a Wireless Broadband Router. A few simple steps can be taken.

Step 1 of Wireless Broadband Router installation: hardware Installation

A. first, connect the power connector to the power hole on the back of the DI-624, and then connect the other end to the power outlet. Please wait about 30 seconds until the DI-624 is activated, then perform the next connection. After the operation is correct, the power LED will be on ｡

B. Connect the network connection to DSL/CableModem TO THE DI-624 WAN port (WAN). The WAN indicator will be on ｡

C. connect a network connection with a computer or device to any port of LAN port 1-4 (LAN), and insert the other end to the edible Ethernet port of your computer, the computer can be used to configure the DI-624. After the connection is correct, the LAN port light inserted into the network will be on ｡

D. Take the computer with the wireless Nic installed (supporting 802.11b/g) near the DI-624, the wireless network settings for the wireless nic and the DI-624, as described later ｡

Wireless Broadband Router installation Step 2: connect other computers to DI-624 Wireless Broadband Router

With other ethernet cables, connect other computers with Ethernet interfaces that require access through the DI-624 Wireless Broadband Router to the remaining three lanports on the rear panel of the DI-624; you can also take computers with wireless NICs installed near the DI-624 to access the Internet through the DI-624 Wireless Broadband Router ｡

Step 3 of Wireless Broadband Router installation: correctly configure your wired computer network settings

A. Right-click your computer desktop and select "properties" from the shortcut menu "｡

B. In the subsequent window, right-click the network neighbor and select "attribute "｡

C. In the subsequent window, select the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and click "properties "｡

D. In the subsequent window, select automatically obtain the IP address and automatically obtain the DNS server address ｡

E. when the local connection shows that the vro is connected, check whether the vro is actually connected to your computer. In the run box of the Start Menu, Enter cmd, enter the command ping192.168.0.1 and press Enter. If you can get the result, it means that the above configuration is correct and the computer has been connected to the DI-624. Step 4 of Wireless Broadband Router installation: correctly configure DI-624 Wireless Broadband Router

1. Open the Web browser, type http: // 192.168.0.1 in the address bar, and press Enter ｡

2. In the subsequent logon window, enter the username admin. The password is blank by default, and then click OK "｡

3. In the subsequent window, click "RunWizard" (online setting wizard )｡

A. Select "Next" (Next )｡

B. set your new password. You can also click Next without setting it. Although the password appears to have a numerical value by default, it is displayed only for the sake of security, the management password is empty by default and does not exist ｡

C. Set the time zone and select it based on your time zone. This article is based on the time zone of the China region, and then click "Next" (Next )｡
