Part I: Boot into DOS with floppy disk
Set the floppy drive as the first boot disk.

The system is entered into the basic input and output CMOS settings, where press the "down or up" arrow keys to select the "Advanced BIOS Features" entry. Figure 3 below

Then press "Enter" to enter the "Advanced BIOS Features" entry setting, as shown in Figure 4

The "First boot Device" entry here is the "Second boot Device" entry for setting the second boot disk entry, and the "third boot Device" entry for setting the third boot disk entry. Here we set the "Device" item to "floppy", which is a floppy disk, and the Second Boot Device entry is set to "HDD-0", which is the default hard drive. Setting method: Select the "Device" item to press "Enter" to enter, which appears as shown in Figure 5 below

(floppy--floppy disk, hdd-0--hard disk, cdrom--disc) then press the "up or down" arrow key, select "Floppy" and press "enter" to enter, that is, complete the setting and return to Figure 4 screen, you can see that the setting has changed. Set the "Second Boot Device" item to "HDD-0" in the same way. When the setting is complete, press ESC to exit to (Figure 1) and press the "right, down" key to select the "Save & Exit Setup" item, which means (Save settings and exit), as shown in Figure 6

Press "Y" to enter, and the system will save the recognition and reboot. Up to this point, the system's first boot disk is set to complete, as soon as you skewer the 98 or me boot disk to the floppy disk drive (a), start the computer can boot to the DOS system, do not have to set again. It is recommended that you set the first boot disk entry to "HDD-0" if you do not need to frequently go to a DOS system after you install the system. The starting process is described below.
