Before installing the NIC driver, make the following preparations:
Note:In this example, the Wireless name is zhangsan and the wireless password is 1a2b3c4d.
Method 1,Put the wireless network card installation CD into the computer optical drive, and connect the wireless network card to the USB interface of the computer. Open
My computer(Computer), find the DVD drive.
Right-clickSelect
Open, You can see the content of the CD.
Method 2,If you cannot find the installation disc or the computer optical drive is unavailable, you need to download the corresponding driver from our official website. Please click to download:
Open the driver file with the following content:
Double-click
When setup.exe runs the software, the following interface appears and clickNext Step, As shown in the following figure:

Install client applications and drivers, Click
Next Step, As shown in the following figure:
Keep the installation path by default. Click
Next Step

Note:If a security prompt appears on Windows, follow these steps:
It may take several minutes to install the client. Please wait.
Prompt to complete installation, click
Complete.
So far, the Wireless NIC driver and client software have been installed successfully.
After the installation is complete, the client interface is displayed automatically.
Network
Click
RefreshYou can search for nearby wireless signals.
After the installation is successful, the client cannot be used. Please click to refer:
Select your wireless signal (in this example, zhangsan) and confirm
Automatic connectionTick and click
Connection
, As shown in the following figure.
On the displayed page, enter the wireless password and click
Confirm.
Prompt successful connection, click
Close.
If you can find the signal, but the wireless connection fails, click to reference:
After successful connection
NetworkThe corresponding wireless network name is marked with a wireless signal, as shown in the following figure:
Click
StatusTo view the basic information of the wireless signal and the obtained IP address.
At this point, the wireless network card is successfully connected to the wireless network.
Note:If the TP-LINK wireless client application is closed, double-click the client icon on your desktop next time you need to use it.
