Summary of eclipse Acceleration

Eclipse is too slow to run, especially when importing large Maven projects, it often goes down, so I summarized the eclipse acceleration method.

(1) Close uncommon Projects

Too many open projects will seriously affect the startup of eclipse. You can close it or directly delete it from the project view (not physical deletion.

(2) automatic cancellation upon startupLoaded plug-ins

Select preferrnces-General-startup and shutdown, cancel all plug-ins of plug-ins activited on startup, and save them.

(3) Maven settings

Select preferrnces-> Maven, cancel the download respository index updates on startup option, and save the settings.

(4) Cancel Validation

Select preferrnces-> Validation, select disable all, and save the settings.

(5) Modify eclipse. ini Parameters

2 GB memory on your PC. The following parameters are used:

-Vmargs
-Dosgi. requiredjavaversion = 1.5
-Xms512m
-Xmx512m

(6) Cancel spell checking

Select preferrnces-General-Editors-text editors-spelling, cancel the Enable spell checking option, and save the settings.
