The questions in question 1.34 are quite special. It is a good learning opportunity for students who have never touched on higher-order functions.

The question is like this. If we define the following process:

Then there are:

(F square) => 4

Because there is (f square) => (square 2) => 4

And

(F (lambda (z) (* z (+ z 1) => 6

Because

(F (lambda (z) (* z (+ z 1 ))))

=> (Lambda (z) (* z (+ z 1) 2)

=> (* 2 (+ 2 1 ))

=> (* 2 3)

=> 6

So what is the result of (f? This is the question that we are asked to answer.

If you have an accurate understanding of the higher-order functions, it is not too difficult to do it. You can deduce them step by step:
