1. Stop the DNS Service (execute the command: net stop DNS during running)
2. Open regedit and find HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ Services \ DNS.
3. Export the DNS branch. Named dns-1.reg
4. Find HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ WindowsNT \ CurrentVersion \ dnsserver
5. Export the dnsserver branch named dns-2.reg
6. Open % SystemRoot % \ system32 \ DNS \, copy all *. DNS files and save them with the dns-1.reg and dns-2.reg.
Back up the above content, and remember to enable the DNS service again (execute the command: Net start DNS in the running process ).
Recovery:
1. When the DNS server in the region fails, re-establish a win2003 server, set the same name as the DNS server to be replaced, and set the same DNS suffix and IP address.
2. Install and start the DNS service in the new system.
3. Copy the *. DNS File backed up earlier to the % SystemRoot % \ system32 \ DNS \ folder of the new system.
4. Disable the DNS service.
5. Import the dns-1.reg and dns-2.reg of the backup to the registry (if the machine name is different, replace the machine name in the Registry file .).
6. Restart the DNS service.
