SVN version date

Source: Internet
Author: User

SVN can also use version dates to specify a version, which uses the ISO-8601 standard, typically yyyy-mm-dd hh: mm: Ss. When you specify a date, SVN will find the version closest to this date in the version library.

SVN interprets the date as "Last recently". Therefore, if the given time only contains the date, for example, SVN will search for it before 00:00:00, therefore, the results may be inconsistent with the expected ones. In this case, you need to consider this. In addition, the timestamp corresponding to a specific version can be forged. Therefore, it is sometimes not safe to use the date.

Example:

$ SVN log-r {2006-11-20 }:{ 2006-11-29}
