Due to insufficient hard disk space, the svn server needs to migrate it to another machine and change the repository directory.

The following steps are required for SVN migration:

 

1. Export the original repository as a file dumpfile.
> Svnadmin dump original repos directory path (/Repository/directory)> dumpfile

 

2. Configure the same SVN server on another machine.

 

3. Import dumpfile to the new repository directory.
> Svnadmin load: directory path of the newly created repos (/Repository/directory) <dumpfile

 

4. Back up the configuration file of the original server and copy it to the new server.

/Etc/httpd/CONF. d/subversion. conf

The AuthFile and Auth. conf files in the repository directory also need to be backed up and copied to the new server.
