Boot first display Linux grub2 boot menu, select Windows and then the Windows boot menu, so when we use Windows more than two times to boot.
To get to Windows faster, we can skip the Linux boot and use Windows to boot. And when Linux is removed under Windows, how to boot without changing windows will cause the boot to fail to enter Windows.
Part1: Open EASYBCD-Add new entry-Linux/bsd-type-grub2-add entry.
PART2:BCD deployment-MBR configuration Options-(Windows VISTA/7/8/10 Select the first item, XP selects the second item)-Write MBR
Here, the non-WIN8/10 user has finished.
If you are a WIN8/10 user, want to use the default blue Metro boot, but now is the black BCD boot, see below (of course, Metro can also switch to BCD). It is important to note that entering Linux under Metro Boot will shut down and then go to grub boot.
1. Download Ntbootautofix
2. Advanced – View/Manage BCD Boot configuration-admin (Windows 8/10)-Metro boot off-Modify
Note: If the metro boot is displayed, click Edit (it may not be correct, as long as you want to switch between the BCD boot and metro boot, click this)
If you still want to boot with grub, but want to set Windows as the default startup item or change the wait time for the Grub boot entry selection screen, see my other article:
