Step 1:

In the command line, enter Ping 127.0.0.1-C 6.
The Ping Command will send 6 packets to test whether your Nic is normal and whether the NIC Driver is correctly installed. Check the number of packets sent Ed. If all packets are received, the nic and driver are installed, otherwise, go to your NIC driver or change the NIC.

Based on the first step of the test, test whether you and the router are in the same LAN. Generally, the LAN configured by the router is 192.168.1.1 ~ 192.168.1.255. If you have different settings, modify them as needed.

You can see that there is an Inet address: 192.168.1.118, which is the internal address of the LAN 192.168.1.1 allocated to you by the router. If the above LAN address appears, it means that you have successfully connected to your vro, only one step away from the successful internet access. If you do not have the above LAN address, it indicates that you encountered an error while connecting to the router. Check whether the network cable is plugged in and whether the router is normal (you can restart the router ).
Step 3:
The probability of a problem occurs in the first two steps is small. Generally, the last step is the problem. After the first two steps are passed, you can connect to your vro. Enter http: // 192.168.1.1 in Firefox and press Enter. This is the logon interface of the vro. (contact your vro administrator. The default user name and password are admin.) After logon, check the vro.
LAN port status: IP address (LAN gateway address), subnet mask, the two addresses with notes.
Wan port status: the DNS server address used. Take note of this address.
Click system> preference> network connection, and select the edit button on the Right of auto eth0. As shown in:
In the "method" area, click the drop-down list and select "Manual". Click "add (a)" on the right of the address bar below to enter the local lan ip address and subnet mask, the gateway address. Enter the inet address in step 2 for the local lan ip address. Use the subnet mask to log on to the vro to see the subnet mask of the LAN port. The Gateway is the IP address of the router in the LAN port status.
The most important thing is to fill in the DNS server bar and log on to the DNS server address of the WAN port that the router sees.
After entering the information, save it. On the top panel, there is an icon with the "" symbol on the other side of the mail tag. Click it with the left button, select "disconnected", and then click "auto eth0" to connect to the network. OK. You can open the webpage in a browser.
