Important notifications:Symbian signed will cooperate with the new Certificate Authority TC trustcenter to issue the Symbian signed certification certificate from January 1, May 29, 2007. after January 1, May 2008, Verisign ACS publisher ID will no longer be supported for Symbian signed authentication.

TC publisher ID for Symbian (Symbian signed certificate) enables software developers to securely develop application software based on the Symbian operating system and run securely on mobile terminals of the Symbian operating system, strict software developer authentication protects the legitimate rights and interests of software developers.

Step 1 online application Step 1-enroll for your TC publisher ID

After you sign the contract and receive the contract, use the TC trust center to customize the application website for wosign:
Https://api.wosign.com/PublisherID_apply.htm, fill in the relevant application information online, after the application is submitted successfully, please tell wosign order number. Pay attention to the following points during the application process:

(1) You must use IE browser to apply online and retrieve the certificate from the same computer;

(2) The company name can only be an English name. If the applicant must submit a business license with a Chinese name, the English name can only be a literal translation of General English words. The company name can only be pinyin. The TC trust Center recognizes the Chinese name business license approved by wosign as a proof document;

(3) when entering the Organization contact, you must fill in the contacts that can be reached on the submitted phone bill;

(4) During the certificate application process, you must enter the revocation password. Remember this password. This password will be used to revoke the certificate in the future;

(5) Please enter the coupon code (coupon) That wosign tells the user correctly at the final payment stage. Otherwise, TC will deem the application as invalid and refuse to process it. As shown in 1:

Step 2 submit the certification file Step2-Send the proof document

After the application is successful, you will receive an email, as shown in Figure 1. The email tells you that you need to provide a copy of the annual business license and a copy of the technical contact ID card (Signed) for the current year ), print the PDF file in the email attachment and sign the file:

Step 3-download and use Symbian key export Utility

PVK and. CER) to sign the sisfile, so you need to export the certificate that has been installed in IE. pfx format, for example, myid. pfx;

(2) download the Certificate Format Conversion Tool and place the exported. pfx format certificate and conversion tool in the same directory. In the DoS Status, enter the following command to convert the Certificate file:

(1) Use Symbian makesis to generate the sisfile:

(2) Signature Verification:

Download the new signature verification tool and run the following command to verify the signed sisfile:

(2) package the signed sis.pkg file and a readme.txt file (introducing software functions and how to use it) into a. ZIP file and submit it to Symbian testing lab. After testing with Symbian, Symbian will re-sign the file and send it to the user.
