Symbol Input method for tick in Word box

We often fill in the information in the bank or some organizations, we will see the list of the information to fill out some of the more special symbols, such as: box tick and fork symbol. In fact, this symbol in Word can be fast and simple to implement, and the method has n many! Here we go.

Method One

First hold down the ALT key on the keyboard, and then enter 9745 in the keypad area (numeric keypad) and finally release the ALT key.

Method Two

Enter the number 2611 in the margin of the document, and then press the shortcut key ALT + X on the keyboard, at this point, these numbers will be converted to the box to tick the symbol!

Method Three

Enter a capital letter R in the Word document, then select it, and then set the font to "Wingdings 2", and R becomes the tick mark in the box.

Method Four

Use symbols in a Word document to insert a tick in a box. The following small series has taken a screenshot of each version of the symbol position to help you quickly locate the right place.

• If you are Word2003: please click insert---> symbol;

• If you are Word2007: Please select Insert---> Symbol---> Symbol---> Other symbols;

• If you are Word2010: Please select Insert---> Symbol---> Symbol---> Other symbols.

Finally, in the pop-up Symbol dialog box "font" set to "Wingdings 2", and then you can find the box to tick the symbol, select and click "Insert" can be.

Method Five

1, also first find "symbol", and then the font is "normal text", the subset is "mathematical operator", as shown in the following figure, the third row, the third is the hook, we select and click "Insert";

2, select the "√" hook you just entered, and then click "Circled character" in the font Options group on the Start tab.

3, in the pop-up "circled character" will be "circle number" into a square, OK. (Then, we can also set "shrink text" and "Increase circle number" to choose the size you want)

Method Six

Again, enter a "hook" in Word, and then click the Character Border button in the font Options group on the Start tab.

At this point, the hook is added with a border.

Tips

Word box in the implementation of the hook is too much, some of the above methods believe that everyone is enough!
