In the previous section, we installed the Management Server for scom, the operations console, and so on, and did not install the reporting server, so there is no report in the console. In this section we will install the reporting server.

Because the reporting server supports SQL Server Reporting services only in native mode, the reporting service is installed here on SQL Server SRV-SQL03.

The reporting server requires. NET FRAMEWORK4 support, because SQL Server is already installed, so there is no special requirement for prerequisites.

Finally, click the next step two times to select the installation, and finally the installation is complete.

Click the Monitoring Ribbon to enter the active alert.

A serious alarm was found with a dataaccess:

Right-click on the property and enter product knowledge to discover the cause of the alert and how to resolve it.

The SPN could not be registered because the data service account at the time of installation did not have domain administrator privileges.

Follow the workaround to open cmd with a domain administrator

Check the existing SPN registration with the command setspn–l and find that the MSOMSDKSVC item in the SPN is indeed not registered

Register the SPN manually using Setspn–a msomsdksvc now
