1. master database

Master is the most important database in SQL Server and is the core of the entire database server. The user cannot modify the database directly, and if the master database is damaged, the entire SQL Server server will not work. The database contains the login information for all users, the group in which the user resides, the configuration options for all systems, the name and information of the local database in the server, how SQL Server is initialized, and so on. As a database administrator, you should top up the backup master database.

2. Model Database

The model database is a template for creating databases in SQL Server, and you can save the relevant information in the model database if the database you want to create has the same initialization file size or has the same data table. Because a database created in the future will be a template with the data in the model database.

3. msdb database

The msdb database provides information to run SQL Server agent work.

The SQL Server Agent is a Windows service in SQL Server that is used to run the specified scheduled task.

4. tempdb database

Tempdb is a temporary database in SQL Server that holds various temporary objects or intermediate results. After SQL Server shuts down, the contents of the database are emptied, and the tempdb database trophy is rebuilt each time the server is restarted.
