System Folder Access denied. How can I open it and system folder access denied?
XP is used in the past. This problem is not solved. Any system folder can be opened. However, after Windows 7 is installed, some system folders cannot be opened, prompting that access is denied. It is your own computer, why is there a folder that cannot be opened? This is set for the sake of system security by Microsoft, mainly to prevent new users from modifying system files in disorder, resulting in damage to system files or accidental deletion of system files.
Step 1:
Open the control panel from the Start menu, and then in the control panel, find and open "system and security.
In the right-side window of system and security, find "Administrative Tools" to open.
Go to the Management Tools window and find and open the "Computer Management" option on the right.
In the computer management window, choose System Tools> local users and groups> users.
In the window on the right of the user, select your own account. If no account is set, it is usually "Administrator". Right-click the account and open the attribute.
In the Administrator Properties window, find the "user disabled" option. In Win7, It is selected by default.
If you want to have the Administrator permission, remove this option and press the application to confirm.
Step 2:
Go to the system folder that cannot be opened. Take Documents and Settings as an example, right-click and select Properties.
In the Properties window, select the "Security" tab and open the "advanced" button in this interface.
In the advanced security settings window, select "owner". The current owner is System. Modify the settings and click "edit ".
In the owner window, select your account, select "Replace sub-container and object owner", and then press application.
The security warning window is displayed. Press OK. A Prompt window is displayed, and press OK.
After returning to the Properties window, you can see that your account is in the user group. Setting the permission to security control is to check all the check boxes. Then press OK.
After exiting the Settings window, open the Documents and Settings folder.
