Systems, installation processes, different confusions, and GEDIT

The terminal cannot run the gedit command.
The connection permissions mentioned on the Internet can be ruled out as follows:

Root @ xts-Lenovo-G450:/home/xts/download # chmod 777 shell.txt
Root @ xts-Lenovo-G450:/home/xts/download # gedit shell.txt

(Gedit: 27985): EggSMClient-WARNING **: Failed to connect to the session manager: None of the authentication protocols specified are supported


** (Gedit: 27985): WARNING **: cocould not connect to session bus

(.. I found that half of my posts were solved.) The problem is solved as follows:

Root @ xts-Lenovo-G450:/home/xts/download # sudo gedit shell.txt
Root @ xts-Lenovo-G450:/home/xts/download # gedit shell.txt

(Gedit: 28341): EggSMClient-WARNING **: Failed to connect to the session manager: None of the authentication protocols specified are supported


** (Gedit: 28341): WARNING **: cocould not connect to session bus

Solution: Add sudo in front of gedit
