If the maintenance status expires, the update to the new version becomes unlicensed. Advanced Manage Product Keys Refresh the maintenance date.

Third, clean up

  1.确认服务器状态

Tabadmin status

  2.清除无用日志等信息（不会清除数据库的访问日志）

Tabadmin cleanup

  3.停止服务

Tabadmin stop

  4.再次清理（保持服务器停止创建备份）

四、创建备份

8.0或者一版本的服务器必须停止服务然后备份，8.1以后可以不停机备份

  1.进入服务器目录（命令行管理员权限）

" C:\Program Files\tableau\tableau Server\8.3\bin "

  2.创建备份，备份文件名为tabserver.tsbak，默认所在目录C:\Program Files\Tableau\Tableau Server\8.3\bin

 Backup Tabserver--Backing up   backups   directly-- backing up files to that directory  Backup--t C:\mytemp\tableau  ---  D append current date to file name-T Specify the temporary folder to use during the backup process

Five, single server upgrade

1. Delete the old version of the server, preserving data and configuration settings.

2. Install a new version of the server. Tableau Setup will import data and configuration from older versions

Note: If you want to automatically import the old version of the data and configure the installation directory must be the same (if the 32bit default is C:\Program Files (x86) \ It does not matter)

If finished, you can delete the tabsvc.bak-* directory inside the C:\ProgramData\Tableau\Tableau server\data directory.
