Before I went to Microsoft for an interview, I read a lot of articles about Microsoft interviews. I flew from LA to Seattle last night. When I got to the airport, I rented a car and stayed at the hotel. It was more. At this morning, I came to Microsoft early and found building 25 of Microsoft's personnel department. Then I began to wander around Microsoft alone, "familiar" the environment here. The headquarters of Microsoft is open-ended. The entire company is composed of 25 buildings. The environment is really beautiful. Like a park, there are neat flowers and lawns everywhere. There are eight people each hour. I really don't understand the schedule. I came to interview software engineers. He talked about how he went to study in the United States from Germany and how he found the brilliant experience of the company. The second person is a technical engineer. After asking about my background, he seems satisfied, especially my international background. Because he has been to Japan twice, and he can speak a few Japanese words, He also speaks well. "Your Japanese language is still good ". I don't forget to give him a few comments to draw closer the distance between them. Later, he asked me to use C to write a paragraph to control the mouse program and call the right and right keys. The third person was a technical engineer who showed me a piece of program as soon as he came up and asked me to pick out the possible problems. After a simple look at the program, I feel that this is the program he wrote, because people like to hear praise from others, "but this program has the memory leakage problem and needs to be released with memory, in this way, the program is perfect." I have not thought much about it, because engineers like Microsoft cannot take a program with low-level errors for me to see. I did not expect these words to conquer him. He thought he met a programmer. The rest of the time was when he told me which part of the program he was responsible for writing windows. I felt that he was a very competent programmer.

Some people asked me programming questions during the rest of the interview, and some people asked me questions about wisdom. The question is: How many gas stations are there in the United States? I am so stupid. How can I know this! I thought, there is a population of 0.25 billion in the United States, and the vehicle ownership rate is 30%. There are 75 million vehicles in the United States, and oil is added every week. Each gas station has an average of 5 minutes of a car, 250 vehicles a day, 1750 times a service, and 40 thousand gas stations in total.

Is this correct? No one knows. In fact, this question is to examine your way of thinking, that is, to analyze the way the problem is solved. You do not need to give the answer to the question. No one knows the standard answer, you are supposed to calculate a rough estimate. The approximate number is not much different.

In general, I feel that my interview results are good. In this way, I felt like this was my physical strength.

In the evening, I saw David McBride, the last interviewer. More than 190cm of the students looked like a manager or something. He first talked about how he entered Microsoft and how he loved Microsoft. I said, "I also want Microsoft to come here ." I have never dared to say I want to give up my own company ......
