Before I went to Microsoft for an interview, I read a lot of articles about Microsoft interviews. Everyone said that Microsoft employees are using interviews to release their work pressure, because Microsoft's interview is a famous whole person. I flew from LA to Seattle last night. When I got to the airport, I rented a car and stayed at the hotel. It was more. At this morning, I came to Microsoft early and found building 25 of Microsoft's personnel department. Then I began to wander around Microsoft alone, "familiar" the environment here. The headquarters of Microsoft is open-ended. The entire company is composed of 25 buildings. The environment is really beautiful. Like a park, there are neat flowers and lawns everywhere. The people here call the company campus. The distance between the building and the building is far away. Campus uses a shuttle bus to ferry the house. If I don't come here, I really don't know what a great American company is like. Those companies that I met in Los Angeles and my own companies cannot be called companies. I suddenly felt that I really should not work in a small company as an employee, so I am too knowledgeable.

At half past eight, I arrived at the personnel department on time, and the recruitment assistant gave me a schedule. The interview starts from five o'clock P.M. AM to AM. There are eight people each hour. I really don't understand the schedule. I came to interview software engineers. I decided on the spot when I had an interview, here, we will have an interview with eight people. It feels a bit like what I heard-Microsoft tries its best to allow more people to come to the interview because they can decompress the interview.

The first one seems to be a bit manager. At the beginning, I told me what this department needs to do-Windows NT R & D. He talked about the future of Windows NT and outlined the bright future. It can be seen that he enjoys his work and has a sense of pride and superiority. I cleverly asked him how he joined Microsoft. He talked about how he went to study in the United States from Germany and how he found the brilliant experience of the company. I also talked about how I went to Japan to study in China and how I went to the United States to continue my studies. His problem is not so harsh. Instead, I think we are chatting and reviewing our past experiences.

The second person is a technical engineer. After asking about my background, he seems satisfied, especially my international background. Because he has been to Japan twice, and he can speak a few Japanese words, He also speaks well. "Your Japanese language is still good ". I don't forget to give him a few comments to draw closer the distance between them. Later, he asked me to use C to write a paragraph to control the mouse program and call the right and right keys. "Is it written using Windows APIs ......" This is a big difference. I 'd like to know it before writing it. "Use the Windows API ." Obviously, he is relaxed with me, because it is complicated and difficult to write functions at the underlying layer. I quickly wrote this small program. My c answer seems to satisfy him, and then I will discuss with him what it should be like if I use underlying functions.

The third person was a technical engineer who showed me a piece of program as soon as he came up and asked me to pick out the possible problems. "This program is very formal and must be written by experienced people. It is very good ." After a simple look at the program, I feel that this is the program he wrote, because people like to hear praise from others, "but this program has the memory leakage problem and needs to be released with memory, in this way, the program is perfect." I have not thought much about it, because engineers like Microsoft cannot take a program with low-level errors for me to see. I did not expect these words to conquer him. He thought he met a programmer. The rest of the time was when he told me which part of the program he was responsible for writing windows. I felt that he was a very competent programmer.

Some people asked me programming questions during the rest of the interview, and some people asked me questions about wisdom. The question is: How many gas stations are there in the United States? I am so stupid. How can I know this! I thought, there is a population of 0.25 billion in the United States, and the vehicle ownership rate is 30%. There are 75 million vehicles in the United States, and oil is added every week. Each gas station has an average of 5 minutes of a car, 250 vehicles a day, 1750 times a service, and 40 thousand gas stations in total.

Is this correct? No one knows. In fact, this question is to examine your way of thinking, that is, to analyze the way the problem is solved. You do not need to give the answer to the question. No one knows the standard answer, you are supposed to calculate a rough estimate. The approximate number is not much different.

In general, I feel that my interview results are good. In this way, I felt like this was my physical strength.

In the evening, I saw David McBride, the last interviewer. More than 190cm of the students looked like a manager or something. He first talked about how he entered Microsoft and how he loved Microsoft. I said, "I also want Microsoft to come here ." I have never dared to say I want to give up my own company ......

In fact, his interview is more about listening, like a primary school student.

"The previous interviews were good and everyone liked your background and technology," David said. "Microsoft is the best company in the world and needs the best employees, you are what we want to find ......"

Microsoft stands for Gates. I think we should meet gates when we get to Microsoft. I told the Personnel Assistant what I wanted to meet gates. She immediately called her house at night. She said, "You still have to think about this important thing. You have to deal with it ." My feeling is that I should leave a small circle in the past, and my company can do it again in the future. This may be the case for Microsoft. I cannot hesitate.
