We usually install the operating system, often use a number of integrated patches of unattended installation CD-ROM, the use of these discs to save time, very popular with everyone, today we would like to tell you how to create a piece of the installation of this CD-ROM. Our goal today is to build an unattended installation disc that integrates XPSP3, a task that is not difficult to complete, and we break it down into two parts:
An integrated SP3 in an XP CD
II Let XPSP3 CD support unattended Installation
To make an integrated CD first, we need only one SP2 XP installation CD and XP SP3 Chinese patch is enough. We first copy the contents of the XP CD to a folder, as shown in the following figure, the target folder we selected is H:\WINXPSP3.
Then we use the virtual optical drive software to mount the XPSP3 ISO file, as shown in the following figure, the Windowsxp-kb936929-sp3-x86-chs.exe in the ISO file is XPSP3 's main installation file. This is a self-extracting file, right click on this file, choose to open with WinRAR.
We use WinRAR to extract the patch main file to H:\SP3, run update/integrate:h:\winxpsp3 in H:\SP3\i386\UPDATE directory, as shown in the following figure. This command means to integrate the SP3 patch into the XP installation file, most of Microsoft's patches have integrate parameters, which means that most of the Microsoft patches can be integrated into the installation CD in this way.
