Prepare the following necessary tools:
1: realalt123. Real decoder, which must be used for good compatibility.
2: ac3filter. AC3 audio decoder.
3: TMPGEnc-2.54-Plus. The video conversion software must be used for good compatibility.
4: tmpgenc DVD author. Software for DVD packaging.
5: divx6.x. DivX file decoder. Almost all Avi videos downloaded from the Internet are used.
6: Nero. The recording software.
After the above software is installed, continue with the following operations.
The video you want to convert may be in the pal or NTSC format. You can use a simple identification method to play the video with the storm player, view the attributes, and see how many frames the video is, 25 frames are in Pal format, and 23.97 and 29.97 frames are in NTSC format.
Now start TMPGEnc-2.54 (commonly known as Japan ). After the software is started, a wizard pops up to close it (figure-1 ).


Open the environmental setting sub-menu (figure-2) in the option menu ).



On the CPU tab, if your CPU is hyper-threading or dual-core, use multi-thread, enable pipeline, enables pipeline for motion search, prefetch video, and check free space, select (figure-3 ).

This will effectively increase your video conversion speed. Old-fashioned CPUs should not be selected, otherwise the picture will be miserable.
On the vfapi tab, raise DirectShow multimedia file reader to the highest level by right-clicking DirectShow multimedia file
Reader item. In the displayed menu, select higher priority. If the maximum value is not reached at one time, click Until DirectShow multimedia file
The reader entry is at the top of the vfapi tab (figure-4 ).




Disable the environmental setting sub-menu. Now you can convert the video.
Click the Video video files on the tmpgenc plus main interface. You must select all files (all files) for browse (figure-5 ).



Click load template on the tmpgenc plus main interface, and now is the time to achieve your goal.
Burning Standard VCD: load the videocd (PAL). BMP or videocd (NTSC). OLAP template in standard mode. You do not need to change the settings (figure-6 ),


On the tmpgenc plus main interface, click Start to convert the video. The default output path is the folder where you open the original video. You can also
Browse (Browse) of the output name item on the plus main interface changes the Output Folder (figure-7 ),


After conversion, a video file with the suffix. mpg will be generated and burned with the Nero VCD option. You need two CDs to burn a movie.
Burn a standard DVD and load it as a standard file. You do not need to change the settings. In the tmpgenc plus main interface, click Start to convert the video. The default output path is the folder where you open the original video. You can also change the output folder in the Browse (Browse) of the output name item on the tmpgenc plus main interface. After conversion, a suffix is generated. MPG video files, but it is not directly burned using Nero in VCD. to burn a video file to a DVD, you must package it before burning it.
A dvd can burn a movie. The length of the film is about 95 minutes. If the length of the film is longer than 95 minutes or even 120 minutes, you need to adjust the compression rate, you can click the setting button on the tmpgenc plus main interface to open the mpeg Setting tab, select the video item, click the rate control mode item, and click the setting button to display the constant quality tab, change the value of the maximum bitrate item from 8000 to 5500 or lower, so that the time for the CD to accommodate movies is longer, but the video quality is reduced. There is no way, because we will not burn the D9 disk, which requires support from the recorder and the cost of the disc is high.
