Teach you to change the command prompt default location in Win XP

Author: User

In Windows XP, click start → all programs → attachments → command prompt to open a command Prompt window, and by default the system navigates to X:\Documents and Settings\ under current user name >, where X is the operating system's drive letter. But in general, we need to work in a specific directory when we use the command prompt, so it is necessary to use the Computer Management feature to change the default location of the command prompt:

Click "Start → control Panel → performance and maintenance → management tools → Computer Management", expand system tools → local Users and groups → users, and then in the right window, double-click the currently logged-on user name, and in the Open Properties dialog box, click the Profile tab, under Home folder, under Local path Type the current letter or current directory you want to change, such as "E:\", and then click apply → OK to restart the computer to complete the change.

Now open the command prompt, and you'll find that the default location has become "e:\," which is much easier to use?
