In long or more formal Word2013 documents, it is often necessary to use different headers or footers on the home page, odd pages, even pages to reflect the header or footer features of different pages. This is easy to achieve, as described in the following procedure:
In step 1th, open the Word2013 document window and switch to the Insert Ribbon. Click the header or Footer button in the Header and footer group (in this case, click the Header button) and select the Edit Header command in the Open Header panel, as shown in Figure 2013070920.

Step 2nd, open the Header and Footer Tools Ribbon, and in the Options group on the Design tab, select the different first page and odd even page check box, as shown in Figure 2013072921.
