Here we will describe how to integrate SE j2sdk with the eclipse development environment. If you have set up the eclipse development environment, we can install SonyEricsson j2_sdk. Download the SDK from SonyEricsson's website at 2.1.5, the latest version.
Integrate SE j2_sdk with eclipse Development Environment
The j2sdks provided by Sony Ericsson are very useful, and their release forms are basically the same as those provided by SUN. Therefore, it is very easy to integrate with other integrated development environments. The document provided by SE describes how to integrate sej2sdk with sunonemobile and jbuilder, this article describes how to integrate sej2s SDK and eclipse.
The Development Environment used by the author is eclipse3.0.1 + eclipseME0.6.1 + j2sdk1.4.2 _ 03 + wtk2.1. If you have not installed any development tools such as eclipse, please refer to the following article on this site.
After setting up the eclipse development environment, we can install the SonyEricsson j2_sdk. Download the SDK from SonyEricsson's website at 2.1.5, the latest version.
Install the sonyericssonj2sdk. For example, the installation directory is C: \ SonyEricsson \ J2ME_SDK. We recommend that you familiarize yourself with its structure in the installation directory, which is very similar to SUNWTK.
Run eclipse, choose menu> windows> preferences-j2me> PlatformComponents> WirelessToolkit, right-click AddWirelessToolkit. Select C: \ SonyEricsson \ J2ME_SDK \ PC_Emulation \ WTK2
After adding the model, we can find that many platform definitions for the SonyEricsson model are added to PlatformDefinitions, so that we can easily select a platform when developing the SonyEricsson model. It is not limited to MIDP1.0 and MIDP2.0.
Next, we can create a project in eclipse. When selecting a platform, we can choose various platforms of SonyEricsson, depending on your development needs. Here we select SonyEricsson's K700 platform. You can find that Libraries has been configured in the project.
