The WAN port, as shown in the following figure, is connected to a broadband feed, LAN port to a computer within the LAN.

1. Set the IP address of the connected computer.
Right-click on "My Network Places" "Properties" (pictured below)
Right-click the "Local Area Connection" "Properties" (pictured below)
Select Internet Protocol TCP/IP properties
Click to select "Automatically obtain IP address" and "Automatically obtain DNS server address". OK, then click "OK" button
Of course we can also set the manual IP address (as shown below)
IP Address: 192.168.0.XXX: (XXX is 2~254)
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.0.1
DNS server: You can fill in your local DNS server address (you can consult your ISP vendor) or the router as the DNS proxy server.
