test method for damage of PE system

I made a PE ISO want to test it? How to test? Then use the virtual machine software to test it.

Step 1th, install the virtual machine software VMware Workstation and create a new virtual machine, and then install the Windows XP Professional system in the virtual machine.

Step 2nd, return to the main window of the program and click the Edit virtual machine settings button on the Windows XP Professional tab.

Step 3rd, open the Virtual Machine Settings dialog box. On the Hardware tab, in the Devices list, click to select the CD-ROM option, and then in the connection area on the right, select the use ISO Image radio button and click Browse.

Step 4th, in the Open Browse ISO Image dialog box, locate and select the previously made ISO image file, and click the Open button.

Step 5th, return to the Virtual Machine Settings dialog box and click OK.

Step 6th, return to the main VMware Workstation program window and click the "Start this virtual machine" button on the Windows XP Professional tab.

In step 7th, the virtual machine starts using the ISO file from the system maintenance CD and requires the user to confirm that network support is enabled in the Open Confirm dialog box. Click the Yes button.

8th, open the PE network configurator-network Profiles (Network Properties) dialog box, users can choose to use DHCP dynamic IP address or static IP address according to the network environment where the computer is in. Select the static IP address (static IP addresses) option and click the OK button.

In step 9th, PE starts to enable the network adapter and configures the network. In the Open PE network Configurator (PE Network Configurator) dialog box, set the IP address according to the actual situation and click the OK button.

The 10th step, enter the PE interface, click the Go button, the user can select the PE function for system maintenance in a list similar to the Windows System Start menu.
