Test Method of the input box

General testing:

 

1. enter invalid data: quotation marks & <>

2. Enter the default value.

3. Valid int and double types of input data

4. Input data that overflows the buffer.

5. Enter the same content

 

6. Valid Character Input: English, numbers, and Chinese characters

7. input range restriction: Boundary Value Method classification. For example, 100 characters, to test: 100,101

8. Blank: space, tab, no input

9. Input Method: Enter the keyboard, copy and paste it

 

 

Special occasions:

1. Path input box: absolute path, relative path, and network path

2. logon input box: Injection Attack, illegal user name verification, and copy the home address to skip the logon page. (Security test)
