Text Statistics Command--WC

WC function: Displays the number of lines per file (line), number of words (word), and number of bytes (byte)

Option:-L: Display number of rows-W: Display number of words-c: Show bytes

Example:

[[email protected] ~]# wc/etc/issue 3 9 47/etc/issue[[email protected] ~]#

[Email protected] ~]# wc-l/etc/issue3/etc/issue[[email protected] ~]# wc-w/etc/issue9/etc/issue[[email protected] ~ ]# wc-c/etc/issue47/etc/issue[[email protected] ~]#
