The blind engineer who invented the project was Sakib Sheikh (Saqib Shaik), a member of Microsoft's British Bing team, who joined Microsoft ten years ago. He had been blind at the age of 7 and had only gone to the blind school, where he had been exposed to the blind computer and opened a new world for him. When Saki went to college, he dreamed of inventing a product that would allow the blind to "see" the world. Now this dream has finally come into reality.
