I sometimes compile MFC into 64-bit and run it, and I will report this error.

The reason for this later is that the wrong DLL is used in the system. For example, this program uses a 64-bit DLL, and you copy it to a 32-bit DLL with the same name. The workaround is to place the correct DLL.

You should put the correct 64-bit DLL under the system32. Note that if it is a 64-bit Win7 system, then 64-bit DLLs should be placed in System32, and 32-bit DLLs will be placed in SysWow64 .
