The application of placeholder graphics in DW mx

A graphic placeholder, as its name suggests, is a temporary graphic that you use before you are ready to add a final graphic to a Web page. It allows you to make a Web page without an ideal graphic--insert a placeholder shape where you need to use the graphic to "occupy" the "site" first.

The name and size are shown above. Viewing the source code discovery adds an image label that contains an empty src attribute.

(ii) Replacement of placeholder graphics

1. When the page design is good, we need to use the correct graphics to replace the placeholder graphics. In the DREAMWEAVERMX (DWMX) Select the placeholder graphics and open the property panel, click the "Create" button. Then DWMX will start Fireworksmx (FWMX) and automatically create a blank canvas of the same size as the placeholder graphic for the "fencing" of the graphic designer.

2. After making the desired graphics in fwmx and optimizing them, click the "Finish" button on the top of the canvas.

In the Save As dialog box that appears, take a filename for the archived PNG file and save it (so that it is easy to modify later), and then "save" the file after making the relevant settings in the Export dialog box that pops up.

3. Switch to DWMX, we found that the placeholder graphic has been replaced. See the code, found that the SRC address has been automatically inserted, the remaining size, alt and other parameters are maintained in the original, as shown in figure:

(iii) the need for attention

If you draw a hot zone in FWMX and you add a link, fwmx will not delete the link that has been added to the image placeholder in dwmx, but if a slice is drawn on the image in Fwmx, the link in the DWMX document will be deleted when the placeholder graphic is replaced.
