Do your Black-and-white photos look flat, with low contrast and lack of level? In fact, the best monochrome printing method has a little secret: the use of color. Explain this: to get the "real" black-and-white effect, use the channel mixer in Photoshop to adjust the red, green and blue channels, and then mix the tones. This is also the best way to get black and white results from color photographs. Soon your friends will wonder why your black-and-white photos look much prettier than theirs.
Below please open your Photoshop, follow the printing expert Debbie Grossman step-by-Step guidance, test it:
1. Copy the background layer so that you can return it in case of error: Click "Layer--> Copy Layer".
2. Because we're going to mix the red, green and blue channels into a black-and-white photo, check the monochrome channel to see the color picture in the three single channel. In the layer/channel/path window, click on the "Channel", respectively, the red, green and blue three monochrome channel bar, to see the three single channels in the photo-tone situation. We're going to use this as a basis for adjusting the Black-and-white tone of each single channel. Watch the RGB Channel bar later.
